I woke up about 2:30 am, and read an e-mail message I had received from Mike Walter, saying he had started a Wikipedia article on Bishop Colin Winter, and asking if I could add to it.
I had great difficulty finding the article, but he sent me more precise instructions, and so I was able to look at it. Colin Winter had been the Anglican bishop of Namibia, and I had worked with him there for a couple of years until we were deported at the beginning of 1972.
The outline was there, well and good, but then I checked the links to some of the background articles, and found they were quite inadequate, so I spent most of the early morning updating them -- articles on Damaraland (the original name of the Anglican diocese) and Ovamboland, and following links from those articles. So in the end I updated only a few sentences on the Colin Winter article, though it needs more work, but spent a great deal of time on the background information, and eventually started a new article on the Anglican Diocese of Namibia. Altogether quite a busy time.
